EXPLANATION:Through social media Facebook, the @IvanJayLamban account shares informationabout Canada which is free from the corona virus or Covid-19. Until now, the@IvanJayLamban upload has received 17 comments and 900 shares by other Facebookusers.

However,after further investigation, it was discovered that the information shared wasnot in accordance with the facts. Referring to the official website of the WHOWorld Health Organization, who.int, the latest data shows that on August 10,2020 Canada recorded 236 new positive cases of Covid-19. With the increase innew cases, Canada was confirmed positive for Covid-19, as many as 119,221 and8,976 died.

Launchingfrom factcheck.afp.com, the Chief Officer of the Canadian Society, Theresa Tamexplained that Canada has recorded an average of 400 positive cases of Covid-19every day. Theresa also said that her country is still studying how to livewith the virus in society.
